How to take good care of Voopoo Grag 6

To keep your VooPoo Drag 6 working reliably and to prevent burning coils or leaking, avoid these common mistakes:

Coil & Liquid Missteps

  • Never fire a dry coil: Avoid taking a drag right after installing a new coil or refilling an empty tank. Always wait 5 to 10 minutes after filling so the cotton can prime fully.
  • Don’t use low-VG liquid on low-resistance coils: Avoid thin, high-PG or high-nicotine salt e-liquids with sub-ohm coils (0.15 Ω or 0.3 Ω). Thin liquids cause spit-back and heavy leaking on high-wattage coils, while high nicotine levels will hit too harshly.
  • Don’t use thick 70/30 VG/PG juice on high-resistance coils: Avoid thick freebase juices if you are using higher resistance MTL coils (0.6 Ω–1.0 Ω), as the cotton won’t wick fast enough, causing dry hits.

Operation & Power Errors

  • Avoid under-powering or over-powering your coil: Do not set your wattage far above or below the range printed on the side of your PnP X coil. Running wattage too low prevents liquid from vaporizing properly and leads to flooding/leaking; running it too high burns the cotton instantly.
  • Don’t leave the tank open or refilled with open airflow: Avoid refilling while the top-fill cap is left open for extended periods, and make sure to close the airflow control ring while refilling to prevent liquid from seeping out due to loss of pressure.
  • Never overfill the tank: Avoid filling all the way to the absolute brim—fill up to about 80% to maintain the necessary vacuum inside the tank.

Battery & Maintenance Pitfalls

  • Don’t use non-compliant or damaged charging blocks: Avoid high-amp fast-charging bricks intended for laptops or smartphones. Stick to a standard 5V/3A Type-C setup or lower to protect the built-in 4400 mAh battery bank.
  • Avoid hot environments: Never leave the device inside a hot vehicle or in direct sunlight. High heat thins the e-liquid, causes leaks, and damages the internal lithium batteries.
  • Don’t carry it unlocked: Avoid throwing the device into a pocket or bag while active. Use the capacitive/button lock function to prevent firing accidentally.
